Archangel Michael: Defeating the Enemy

For some reason, while I was meditating on Archangel Michael the above song started to play. St. Michael is a very powerful player in the Catholic Church. Not one mass goes undone without his prayer:

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the

wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Divine Power of God - cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Archangel Michael is the leader of the legion of angels. He is known to be closest to God and works side-by-side with Jesus Christ. If you look at Christian artwork, you always see Archangel Michael defeating the dark force. He is the key angel to invoke when you are facing an injustice with anything in your life. Even if the injustice is you against you.

When I was working with the Archangel Michael's meditation, the main focus was my commitment to myself and purpose. What connections I had collected as I branched out into the world. Throughout those seven days, I had to decide what was worth keeping. Archangel Michael's sword was coming to do some permanent chopping and I had to be ready to let go. Past lives, contracts, personal items, lost loves, successes and failures. Time to say good-bye.

I cried so much during that time. So many unfulfilled dreams and disappointments to atone with. However, when I was done I felt freer and younger again. Archangel Michael's message to me was to "Go Forward Fearlessly' and envision a new life that will be better. "All I treasured I have left on the sand there, close to You I will find other seas." Now I understand why this song came to me because I have did find other seas.

On a metaphysical plane, Archangel Michael represents the throat chakra and the third eye. Your throat chakra is your voice, your truth. Your third eye is your sixth-sense. The two chakras can work simultaneously, if they are in proper tune. If you can see clearly, you can respond in accordance. Also, your dreams will be your pathway to prophecy. Anything you need guidance with will be shown to you if you ask the question correctly. Be patient though, It may take a little time.

Archangel Michael rules the new moon cycle which is seven days. Today's new moon falls in Cancer. Hi guys! The new moon is the dark side of the moon. This cycle is meant for renewal and expansion. How are your dreams manifesting? And if they aren't are they still worth dreaming about?

Now, I can't complete this wonderful ode without a chosen animal. I have been wanting to share this beauty for a long time and now I can. The Pegasus.

Like Archangel Michael, the great Pegasus flies through air helping his fellow man against the forces of evil. He is beautiful, magnificent and a loyal friend. It's funny, when I wrote about Uriel, I saw tons of groundhogs . Wouldn't it be amazing if just, if. Well a girl can dream, can't she? If only for a moment to see a great warrior fly in front of her.

O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, etc.

[Say one Our Father and three Hail Marys after each of the following nine salutations in honor of the nine Choirs of Angels]

1. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen.

2. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim may the Lord grant us the grace to leave the ways of sin and run in the paths of Christian perfection. Amen.

3. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones may the Lord infuse into our hearts a true and sincere spirit of humility. Amen.

9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted in the life to come to Heaven. Amen.

Say one Our Father in honor of each of the following leading Angels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and our Guardian Angel.

Concluding prayers:

O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises. Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael Prince of Your Church, make us worthy, we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence.This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord.
