Hawk Spirit's Animal Energy of the Week:The Parrot (Genius and Faith)
Today I bring in a very schnazy chaacter that entered my life exactly eight years ago. Sammy. Some of you may already know him by sound or admiration. He's anywhere and everywhere in my environment. There is no end to his adventures. Sammy comes into our energy world today as a celebration of intelligence, comedy, youth, creativity and dreams.
The parrot is ranked as number 5 on the list of the most intelligent animals. They can speak, sing, build, dance, and strategize ulterior motives. I call Sammy my master genuis. He can get into anything and create a new home for himself. The heater by the toilet seems to be his place right now. It makes sense, the heater is warm and comforting on a very cold day.
Now, the thing with genius is that you have to use it wisely, it's a gift. There has to be a focus and mission so that purpose of the genuis runs smoothly. And this is where Sammy fails at times. When he is looking to build a new home, he chews through my cabinets. To create a nest he rips through my toilet paper and shades. In one instance, he made a home in my hamper, chewed right through the plastic holes so he could fit in.
According to Sammy this is not a failure. He is just increasing his real estate value. A home in the living room, by the heater, in the hamper - hey what's the problem. The problem is that the destruction he caused is costly to his mistress. I eventually have to replace things and may lose money on security because of Sammy's exploraitons. One needs discipline when applying his/her blueprint onto the plot of land.
Nevertheless, I can also appreciate Sammy's way of thinking. He wants what he wants (borderline-obsessive). There is no way of stopping him. He is fighter and will bite your fingers/toes if you get in his way. His soul is full of fire and his eyes sharper than genius itself. He wants for nothing because God told him a long time that he would never need. Why worry when the universe will give him everything. Sammy isn't living life he's being life.
"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them." Matthew 6:26
I am very emotional as I write this Sammy blog. I've raised parrots for 15 years. Lost only two throughout that time. They have taught me about love, responsibility, diet, music, creativity and motivation. The reason why I am in a better place today is because I wanted a better place for them. Parrots really are very high achievers. At least Sammy is.
My parrots always had tremendous faith in my genius. For some reason, they knew that no matter what, I would always find a creative way to make our dreams/needs manifest. Sometimes that's all we need is someone or something to beileve in us.
Genius. It's a gift. Sammy uses his to build houses, formulate speech and structure a time table between the kitchen and my return to the dinner table so he can steal my food.

1. Are you stuck in Genius or Frankenstein brain? Frankenstein brain is belief systems that are no longer suitable for your life. Keeping you back.

4. Do you want to re-locate? Remember Sammy has four homes. Boredom is not his strong suit. Is it yours?
5. Is your style in need of a make-over? Hair, clothes, body, etc.. Sammy is gorgeous. He wants you to be gorgeous too. Parrots are very vain and elitist. Beauty is everything to them.
I had a great time writing about this little multi-colored dynamo. Sammy has always been a good time though. He makes me laugh a lot. Scream too. He wants to thank you for reading his blog.
